2022 Bed & Breakfast: The rate of R1270 per person per night, includes comfortable private thatched accommodation, a hearty African breakfast, access to the swimming pool, a minimum of one game drives and exclusive use of communal living facilities. Special requests, such as additional meals and day trips, can happily be accommodated. Mountain bikes and outdoor games are welcome.
Self-catering: R850 per person per night in comfortable thatched accommodation, including access to the swimming pool, communal living area facilities, walks into the bush and a sunset cruise. Game drives and meals can be arranged.
Tents: R600 per person per night in professionally attired tents with beds, ablutions and hot water. Guests have access to a private boma, kitchen facilities and outdoor seating for meals. Mountain bikes and outdoor games are welcome. Game drives can be arranged.
We are happy to consider any special our unplanned requests for meals, for example, if you would like us to prepare and host a braai at night around the fire with homemade bread cooked on the fire, we are happy to discuss this with you.
If you would like us to buy food and drink for you in advance this can also be arranged.
There is a minimum stay of 2 nights throughout the year if your booking falls on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night or during school holidays and long weekends.

In the event of a cancellation, the following fees shall apply:
0-14 Days – Forfeit 100% of the booking value
15 – 28 Days – Forfeit 50% of the booking value

iganu is available for hire on a whole or partial basis, i.e., guests can hire the lodge and self-catering tents altogether; or in separate units. Guests prefer however to hire out the lodge for privacy.
We are open to long term rentals for artists, writers, entrepreneurs, retired couples and career break professionals.

Rates for children 0 – 5 years old are available upon request and are subject to availability as well as terms and conditions.
Children 6 – 16 years old are accommodated on either a selected evening and morning game drive with their parents. Adult supervision is compulsory.
Adult supervision is mandatory for minors at the swimming pool at all times.
COVID-19
South Africa is currently under the Level 1 safety alert. Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing of one and half metres from each other.

Rates include the exclusive use of the thatched cottage/rondavel with own entrance, the communal areas off the lodge comprising a functional kitchen, bar, lounge, library, DSTV, garden, swimming pool, boma and a minimum of one game drives. Linen, towels and cooking utensils are included.
A daily maid service is available, subject to arrangements in advance.
Designed by local craftsmen, iganu, the place of the marula tree, is perched in an indigenous garden under blue skies with year-round sunshine, exquisite butterflies, yellow hornbills and antelope roaming freely in a predator-free environment.
iganu is a short drive away from the one horse town of Marken and four hours from Johannesburg. A part of the Waterberg biosphere in Limpopo, the lodge is cosy, sleeping 10 in well crafted thatched huts and eight in professionally attired tented camps.
